Opening Concert
Breaking Trad
We are delighted to welcome Breaking Trad: Donal Murphy, Mike Galvin and David Doocey – as the Headline Act for the special 10th Anniversary opening concert. Sponsored by Ballinasloe Credit Union.
Breaking Trad comprises Dónal Murphy (Accordion) from Abbeyfeale, West Limerick, a winner of multiple All-Ireland titles on Button Accordion and Melodeon; David Doocey (Fiddle) originally from Boston, now living in Mayo has performed with some of the top artists in the industry such as Lunasa, Sean Keane, Sharon Shannon, Teada and many more; and Mike Galvin (Guitar/Vocals) with vast experience across Rock and Roll to Irish Traditional.

East Galway Style, Keeping The Tradition Alive
East Galway’s distinctive style of music and playing has been an integral part of the Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds experience for many years, so to celebrate our milestone it is only fitting to host a special event on our programme, and we are delighted to announce a free day-long exhibition entitled “East Galway Style“. This amazing exhibition is your chance to immerse yourself in an array of music, song, dance, talks, photos and videos from professionals and artists.
