George McAdam
George McAdam is a banjo player from Ballybay in County Monaghan. Having started playing the banjo at a young age, George has won numerous junior and senior All-Ireland titles. George is a much sought-after performer, recording artist and tutor throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America. George plays the drums with the Blackwater Céilí Band, winning the All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band title in 2018. The band launched their debut album entitled ‘Music in the Valley’ in June 2019. He also featured as a guest artist on ‘Carlos, Sweeney, and McCartin’.
