Meet the Team

Every year, the Féile takes place thanks to the dedication of the committee, a group of now, eight volunteers, who give many hours of their spare time to behind-the-scenes planning for twelve months of the year. This Féile has grown into a four-day event of exceptional calibre thanks to the hard work of this strong committee, many of whom have been involved since the beginning. They invest their time for the passion they all share for traditional Irish music, singing, dancing, heritage, and culture. The team has professional expertise in a variety of fields, including finance, public relations, event management, fundraising, teaching, marketing, and sales. In 2013 a need for a weekend Trad Festival in Ballinasloe was identified, one which would continue honouring the musical life of local musician Larry Reynolds, promote the East Galway Style of music and highlight Ballinasloe Town as a Féile tourism destination. Now in its eleventh year, with its ever expanding line-up of events, Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds undoubtedly is on the trad festival map offering something for everyone.
